I watched Leavenworth after Lt. Lorance was pardoned.

It’s a detailed series that gives you background on Lorance, his platoon, the incident in Afghanistan, rules of engagement, military justice system, and the role of Right Wing propaganda news outlets/personalities. It’s 5 episodes and can be found on Starz. I came away feeling sympathy for him and his family but ultimately justice was served with his conviction.
