That is the normal way of evaluating job numbers...


Release the initial numbers and then correct as more data is available. During Obama's terms, there were some conspiracy theorists alleging job numbers were rigged, the proof of which were the eventually revised-down figures. But that's simply how this sort of information is disseminated (similar to scientific knowledge, frankly). Best guess based on available data so the public/economy can see the rough trend, and then revisions later after more data is available.

See!? It happens under Pub Presidents too.
