Sorry, I misstated what I meant...


I meant to suggest that when a news story itself is graphic/violent/threatening, etc, it's reasonable for news stations or websites to edit the content to remove or diminish the offending content.

Likewise, Twitter's policy of censoring threatening/violent content is also reasonable, even when the motivation for its original posting seems just.

If the McConnell team had edited the video (which I have not seen) to satisfy Twitter's policy, this wouldn't have been removed.
