I've listened to a few interviews with her, and every time I've come away extremely impressed. She talked about ways she was able to get things accomplished in the Georgia legislature, by digging into details and laying out the facts in compelling ways. She talks about going to rural white counties to explain why Medicaid expansion was important (and those folks not understanding it was the GOP legislature holding it back). She is unabashedly a huge nerd.

I'm probably not doing her proper justice in this post. The interview with Chris Hayes on his podcast back in February or so was really good (Why is this happening). That's what made me such a huge fan of hers.
