Where in the world did you get those numbers? Fox? Did you check
Anything? Also, why use 2011 if you're trying to compare to Trump? Oh, I know.... to cherry pick the data that you like. it's the Republican way!
A more realistic view:
During Obama's tenure: SP 500 ran from about 850 to 2297 for an average increase of 13.6%. Trump's tenure so far, from 2297 to 2919 for an average annual gain in 2.333 years of 11% per year.
Obama's first 28 months the SP500 increased by 57% for an average annual rate of 21%. Good job Obama!
Let's discount the first year of Obama since his policies were not yet in effect. (but then shouldn't we discount the first year of Trump?) and you still get a seven year average of 11.5%.
You insist on starting in 2011? Ok, the SP ran from 1293 to 2297 in six years for a better than 77% increase in six years, or 10% average annual increase.
Where did you get 7%? The Dow numbers for 2011 through 2016 are very similar.
