As an alum, I would keep my mouth shut and let the team decide.

But quietly, I would hope they'd go out of respect for the office. For many years it didn't matter who the occupant was. We're hyper focused on this one, and that's in very large part due to his, well, general ass-hattery, but it's also a reflection of the times and how addicted we all are to outrage.

I want a firewall built around this team protecting it from politics. Not possible, of course, but in that spirit, I think going out of respect for the office, regardless of its occupant, is the least political course of action.

But, I would leave it to them, and I would say nothing about it one way of the other. I'd want them to make the call for themselves, no pressure from the rest of us.
