When I prepare tax returns, It’s somewhat difficult to get a grip on which group, liberal or conservative gives more money to charity. Most of my clients never talk to me about politics. I occasionally have a client that comes in my office on a mission to “get” Trump.

In general, it’s all over the place, but church goers tend to give a bit more, but it’s mostly to the church. I have wealthy people that give a lot, and wealthy people that hardly do anything. I have an older couple that makes a little over 100K each year that gives between 18k and 25K every year. They are very simple but happy people that talk about how lucky they are. Great attitudes.
