With Cville's political heat, like it or not. Earlier this week I linked a NewsHour report on the championship run, and it had two themes: the great life lesson derived from a program that faced its greatest failure head on, never avoiding it, and turned it into its greatest triumph. And the dancing in the streets on Monday into the wee hours of Tuesday, exhibiting nothing but joy and unity, no rioting, no looting, no destruction of property, in contrast to the last big exhibition on the streets of Cville in August of 2017, which exhibited hate, violence, and in the end death and destruction.

I linked it here and not on the hoops board because I didn't want the politics over there. But even in the Barstool link about the Cville celebrations, posted on the hoops board this morning, a celebrating student screams "Fuck Nazis", and another "No More Tiki Torches". Given where Cville has been recently, I think there will always be a link. A need to highlight the contrast. I am certain the 30 for 30 will feature it prominently.

Hopefully, the next natty won't have political ugliness as part of the backdrop.
