This is the payoff. Watching the games is utter torment.

I can't call it fun, and I can't honestly say I look forward to them. Last night at the opening tip there was a part of me saying "wait I'm not ready!!!" My living room, which for various important cosmic reasons had to be my personal viewing site this whole tournament, had become a torture chamber of sorts. And when I woke up bleary eyed this morning, it was back to being my little sanctuary.

Maybe 4 hours of sleep, and not tired in the least. This feels great. After last year. If I wrote a novel with this ending (including the prior two games), no matter how brilliantly written, it would be rejected as too unrealistic.
