Media won’t double check?

The Post had a correction at least eight hours before the story you posted. (I can’t find the timestamp for the change, but people were tweeting about the correction as early as 2:00 yesterday.)

Typical right-wing bullshit. After throwing a fit that no media was checking into Phillips’ background, and this was proof of their bias, the media went and checked into Phillips' background and found he did serve in the military, but that he did not serve in Vietnam. Thanks, media, for messing up the story, and thanks, media, for looking into the story! The MAGA crew appreciates that they can both denigrate you and also use your work.

And, of course, the entire reason right-wing shitheads are focused so much on this is that it distracts from the question that matters: Did the MAGA kids act like shitheads? (Answer: Yes, they did.)
