Anybody that thinks Ford is lying since she can't recall exact place or

other details. Do you have vivid memories of unplanned moments in your high school life? Do you remember a big fight with your parents? An embarrassing moment at school? A car accident? Do you recall exactly how old you were? Exactly where it was? In my experience, unless that is central to the moment you likely don't. A couple that come to mind for me are of my examples:

I recall a couple of fights with my father. I remember words, location in the house etc but I couldn't tell you how old I was I could tell you if I had been in HS or college, but it's more that it's connected in my head to being home for break or going back to work for him afterwards than actually remembering my age.

Shortly after my 16th birthday I was in a car accident. I wan't hurt but I couldn't drive the car. If it wasn't tied so closely to my birthday I wouldn't remember how old I was. I remember somebody stopped to help but I don't remember if they drove me home or to a phone to call my parents. It happened on a back country road that I drove regularly but today I couldn't come close to finding it on a map.

I remember being very young how old are you when you are reading sitting on a floor taking turns reading out loud? I remember phonics and sounding out island as is-land and the other kids laughing. The other kids included Laura Pagel (Good GOD I hope she is not on this board!) I had a crush on Laura so that is burned into my brain. I have no idea what grade I was in or who the teacher was. (And I can name every one of my K - 12 teachers). I could not name a single other kid in the class. I sure remember that moment.

For Ford to say that she can't recall where this happened, or how many people were there or who else was there or how she got home makes not one shred of difference to me. In fact, if she could recall every detail I would think that some of it must be manufactured. I am not a me too guy, but I believe Ford.
