No. They are making a recommendation between the mRNA vaccines based on

A tiny number of observed instances of risks with one of them. Not requiring the change. Ironically, you cite a principle here that escapes you when it comes to recommended Covid public health recommendations. The idea is that there’s a tiny potential risk for this demographic with Moderna, so if you have the option, might as well choose Pfizer to reduce the tiny risk further. Why not? Just like we might as well wear a mask in some settings, even if you think the reduction in risk is minimal. That one doesn’t work for you, I guess because of your snowflakey sensitive ears.

The people wearing the tinfoil hats are those distorting this risk, and corresponding soft recommendation to choose one mRNA brand over the other, into some nonsensical indictment against the entire vaccine effort. That logic is laughable. We agree about that.
