You can't look at the 2A alone. There are militia clauses in both articles 1 and 2 that provide additional context, not to mention the fact that there were militia acts passed in both the early 19th and 20th centuries that back that up as well. Looking at the 2A by itself is disingenuous, unless of course your objective is to be able to sell more unregulated weaponry.

We need to tell the gun lobbying group known as the NRA to piss off.
