Dems are keeping their fingers crossed, but I don't think so
Seeing too many signs that the party does better without him (VA and NJ elections) and a few in the party starting to (publicly) take very different positions (Christie, Hutchinson).
Better path to victory without him (even without the cheating), though clearly we know very little today. Next year's midterms will be very telling, where people want to see theDonald and where people seek distance. VA GOP was pretty clever in how it selected Youngkin, no need to do the primary-to-general two-step, it will be interesting to see how others manage it.
The reality is that he is a liability for the party nationally, he helps people win primaries in very red districts and very red states (the types of places where lots of people watch Fox News all day long). Down ballot candidates did much better than he did last year - which says a lot.
For what its worth, I don't think Sleepy Joe will be on the ballot either. Let's move on from these (too) old (to be President) white guys and put the garbage we've seen over the last couple of years behind us.
