Once people start peeling this back, looking at how the law is meant to be executed / enforced, how it is essentially a legal work-around- millions of moderate women will feel insulted. Kinda like the VA ultrasound requirements - I'm guessing many found that hugely insulting as well (the crazy stuff just won't fly in VA these days, the GOP hasn't realized that yet).

It may not matter much in Texas in the near future, but it will definitely become a rallying cry elsewhere. I also think moderates (those that lean D and those that lean R) will start to care about the courts as much as Mitch McConnell has over the last several years.

I feel the same way about attacking voting rights (in places like GA in particular). Good chance of short-term gains (theDonald only needed 11k votes), but probably not helpful over the long haul.
